A nuclear bomb could split an asteroid into two, giving each piece enough kinetic energy to move far enough kinetic energy to move far enough apart to miss the Earth in the time needed.Physics Question True or False and Why is it true or false?
wouldn't that depend a great deal on the size/mass/composition of the asteriod, how fast it was going, how big the bomb was, etc etc ?
