What do you think the actual ratio is of true and false Christians in the world?

If we are speaking only of those who 'claim' to be Christian, the ratio is probably in the vicinity of 3% true to 97% false. If you are taking the entire population of the Earth in consideration, it would probably fall to less then 1%.What do you think the actual ratio is of true and false Christians in the world?
One would need to be psychic to know that.....What do you think the actual ratio is of true and false Christians in the world?
I just heard a sermon by D. James Kennedy in which he cited two sets of numbers. The first is the percentage of Americans who say they believe in God. That number typically runs somewhere between 80 and 90 percent. THEN he says when the polls go further, asking, have you ever had a personal experience with Jesus Christ, do you have a personal relationship with Him, etc., that number is around 40 to 45 percent.

He went on to say that it was once in the 20's and has been steadily rising ever since. He predicted in the next 20 years there will be a TRUE Christian majority in this nation. I pray that he's right.
probably like 1:10. So many people say they're christians but they don't believe the bible is the word of God. It's either one or the other.
I do not know the ratio, but the majority of the so called Christians are false. Few there be that will find the narrow path.
The problem arises when people create God in their own image. Then their God is too small.
There are 6 billion humans and 6 million true Christians, so 3 to 1 ratio
I'd say only about 25% are real if you look at the general population - probably a significantly greater percentage if you look in Christian churches, but still no where close to 100%.

There are alot of people who say they are Christian, and when you ask them how they know for sure, they give reasons that are people-based, like:

- My parents are Christians

- I'm a member of the whatever-church

- I've been Baptized

- I'm a good person

- I don't beat my wife

- I'm not a cannibal

ETC.

However, this is FALSE doctrine concerning what makes a person a Christian. The Bible clearly states that we can NEVER be good enough or do enough things to work our way to heaven. If we could, then we wouldn't need a savior.

If you ask a person how they're sure they're a Christian and they tell you about what Christ did for them on the cross, then you know they are for real.
99.99% false. i say this because few people know the entire bible as it was meant to be... it has been edited... to control, not love.
i asked the same question slightly rephrased and my Q got deleted
6,000,000,000 - world population

1,980,000,000 - Christian

The number said to be claimed - 144,000 true believers.

144,000 / 1,980,000,000 = Said that Jesus will claim as his own.

Seems like a small percentage to be saved!
Gods word says wide is the path that leads to destruction and narrow is the gate that leads to eternal life with Him. God also said He'll tell those who claim to be believers to flee from Him you doers of evil. I don't know the exact numbers but I'm assuming quite a few of us will be cast away. Sad but true and only God knows the truth.
1 to 500,000,000
There was only one absolutely true Christian and he died a bit less the 2000 years ago. His words and action have been bastardized ever since.
It depends what you mean by true and false Christians. Since you'll not find any consensus the answer to your question depends on who you ask.
how bout this question- how many people are 100% religious on a plane thats going down?
we can't really say for certain, because God does all the judging; as far as actually seeing the LORD Jesus Christ in people who profess to be Christian, I'd say less than 3 out of 10 (%26lt;30%)

THE AXE HAS BEEN LAID

19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. - Matthew 7:19-27 kjv.
