Why do people say their is no difference between true Christians and false when?

The Bible said there is a difference even Jesus said so? false teachers are everywhere trying to deceive others.Why do people say their is no difference between true Christians and false when?
Most people can't tell the difference between a read and a counterfeit $20 without taking the time and carefully looking, why should it be any different.





Many hate/mock/dismiss those that call themselves Christian so if they are unwilling to look, they will never see.





In Matthew 7 it tells us that there are those that God will not allow in and are false teachers and yet few want to take the time to learn.








As Thomas a Kempis writes in ';The Imitation of Christ';, ';To many the saying, 'Deny thyself, take up thy cross and follow Me,' seems hard, but it will be much harder to hear that final word: 'Depart from Me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire.'';Why do people say their is no difference between true Christians and false when?
In order for there to be a true Christian there needs to be a criteria for a false Christian. What is the criteria for a false Christian?





If all Christians are human, which they consider to be sinners, all Christians are sinners. If all Christians are imperfect and committing sins, how can one Christian be considered true and another be considered false?
There are several problems here.





First of all what is a ';true'; Christian? Is it just someone who has believed and been baptized? Is it someone who keeps Jesus' commandments?





Secondly, are ';true'; Christians always ';true'; Christians, or when they fail to keep Jesus commandments are they even temporarily false Christians.





Are they only ';true'; Christians who adhere to orthodox doctrine? You may be different, but my experience as a pastor was that most Christians didn't know what an ecumenical council is and so had no idea what was and wasn't heresy, as indeed the whole church did not for centuries. So were there no ';True'; Christians until after the 7th Ecumenical Council? I bet if I tested you on basic Christian doctrine you'd flunk. Most Christians do. Does that mean you are not a ';true'; Christian or just that you didn't go to seminary?





Finally most false teachers are not trying to deceive anyone. Most genuinely believe they are teaching truth not heresy. Often they are simply repeating wrong theology they learned in a trailer court Bible school and aren't on some mission of evil to deceive the faithful.





Just some things to consider.
Their certainly IS a big difference between false and true Christians. Several cult type ';Christian'; religions are present today and have deceived thousands if not millions. Jesus indicated we have to know him to be his true disciples and we have to abide in him and obey his commandments and seek his face continually. He said, ';If you continue in the word, then you are my disciples indeed.'; Continuing in the word means everything that is according to God's will for our lives.
Probably because some Christians are not ignorant fundie hypocrites.





When Jesus Christ said that what you judge of others will be your sentence.


Matthew 7: 1Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2For with what judgment


ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it


shall be measured to you again.

(2Corinthians 11:13-14-15) Such people are false apostles, dishonest workers who are masquerading as apostles of Christ.


(2Cor 11:14) And no wonder, since Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.


(2Cor 11:15) So it is not surprising if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their doom will match their deeds!

There are so many different ways to interpret the Bible that I doubt there is such thing as a ';true'; Christian.
They are deceived. You are truly a child of God or of Satan. The bible says the road to death is wide and many go there. Satan has many (most) deceived. You cannot see the truth as long as u are spiritually dead. If u get truly saved then u can see the truth.
1 John 2:4


He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.








False teachers teach they do not have to obey the Commandments.








Remember the Sabbath - The 4th COMMANDMENT.
People have their own interpretation of the bible. Their walk with Jesus is a personal walk and no one truly sees the Christian heart except Jesus.

Adherents to the Christian faith throughout the world today number


at least one billion persons. Not all these are actively practising their faith, but all are recognised as adherents.
The 'fake ones' deny Jesus' Holy Deity, Period!! (They just slap the 'name' on them because their mommy is a 'christian', supposedly.)
I say there is no difference because there are no true christians. They're all hypocritical in some way.
Then they can say that Christianity is false because the fake Christians are hurting the real ones.

there is a huge difference who ever said there was not its just atheists can not see it.
