I'm french and i'd like to know what's the difference between True/false and right/wrong?

True/false: vrai/faux --%26gt; for (assumed) facts

Right/wrong: correct/incorrect --%26gt; for facts AND behavior or personal meaning

e.g.

鈥?The teacher said elephants only live in two continents: Africa and Asia. Is that true or false? - Le prof a dit que les 茅l茅phants ne vivent que dans deux continents: l'Afrique et l'Asie. Est-ce vrai ou faux?

鈥?Hey, Marcus, is it true that you're leaving the company this Friday? That's right, I am. - H茅, Marcus, est-ce vrai que tu quittes la soci茅t茅 ce vendredi? Oui, c'est vrai. =%26gt; Here, ';right'; has the same meaning as ';true.';

鈥?Do you think it's right to treat children like that? No, in my eyes it's very wrong. - Est-ce que tu penses que c'est correct (normal) de traiter des enfants de cette fa莽on? Non, 脿 mon avis c'est tr猫s incorrect. (dans le sens de: cela ne se fait absolument pas; ce n'est pas acceptable du tout)

鈥?No, what Robert said is not true. He's wrong, he's mistaken. - Non, ce que Robert a dit n'est pas vrai. Il se trompe, il fait une erreur.I'm french and i'd like to know what's the difference between True/false and right/wrong?
True and fase is whether something is accurate. So it's true that cheese is often yellow and it is also right/correct.

However right/wrong can also be used as a moral thing. So it's wrong to kill someone or someone can be wrong by saying France is in America but you don't really say they are false.

True/False- vrai/faux

Right/Wrong- juste/tort

Hope this helped :)I'm french and i'd like to know what's the difference between True/false and right/wrong?
Bonjour

'False' means 'not true' - wrong means ';not correct'; or ';bad';; True is ';factually accurate'; but right means ';good'; or ';the right thing';...it's about the context of the sentence.

i.e. my watch is wrong (ma montre ne va pas juste) - you wouldn't say ';my watch is false';.
True and false are would be facts, 'This pen is black, this pen is blue'

However right and wrong can be open to more interpretation 'Being gay is wrong' is right to some people, however to anyone with half a brain that statement would be wrong.
true or false only refers to whether something is factually accurate. right or wrong also refers to that but could be referring to what's morally acceptable.

For example: it's true I hit my brother but it's wrong to have hit him.
if you have your ears pierced and you say that they aren't that's false and if you say u do that's true and right is the correct or better thing to do while false is the incorrect or worse thing to do
True is like 'Bananas are yellow' - Thats true

'Bananas are Blue' - Thats false!

And right and wrong is pretty much the same things, its just more general.
true/false = quantitative

right/wrong = qualitative
True/False is generally used for facts or particular answers.

Right/Wrong is more broad in use.
true-correct/vrai/reel

false-faux, pas vrai

right-juste, avoir raison

wrong-injuste, avoir tort
its the same thing...true means right and false means wrong
you appear to have a good enough grasp of english??

true/right --- yes

false/wrong --- no
